We’re proud to announce that The Farmstead, one of Resthaven’s independent living communities in Holland, has been awarded the Silver Award in the Environments for Aging (EFA) 3rd Annual Dining Competition, a national awards program honoring outstanding dining spaces in senior living communities.
Selected from 22 submissions by a panel of industry experts—including architects, designers, providers, and consultants—The Farmstead stood out for its inviting design, thoughtful layout, and commitment to creating a warm, engaging dining experience for residents. The project, submitted by THW Design, was recognized for:
- Offering diverse and inclusive dining options for residents and guests
- Encouraging resident connection and engagement
- Showcasing a high-design aesthetic
- Supporting efficient and accessible operations in both front- and back-of-house areas
At Resthaven, we believe that dining is more than just a meal—it’s an experience. We are honored that The Farmstead has been recognized on a national stage for creating a space where community and connection flourish.
