We are pleased to share Seth Weener is the new Chief Financial Officer at Resthaven. Seth has over 10 years’ experience as a CPA. Prior to joining Resthaven, he was an Assurance Senior Manager at Crowe LLP in Chicago, where he worked exclusively with non-profit organizations.
“It only took me one day here to realize the passion and care our team brings to work each day,” Seth said. “My grandma and great aunt both spent time at Resthaven, so while Resthaven has always been familiar to me I have quickly learned why Resthaven has built such a strong reputation in the Holland community.”
Seth graduated from Hope College and, as a West Michigan native, is excited to be back in the area after living in Chicago and San Francisco over the past ten years. He met his wife, Molly, on the Hope College track and field team and they have a four year old daughter, Ivy, and a one year old son, Asher, as well as a dog that is bigger then both their kids combined!
“I am excited to be a part of a faith-based organization that lives out its mission on a daily basis and has been doing so in the Holland area for the last 75 years! I look forward to building relationships with our residents and their families. The future is bright at Resthaven and I am excited to be a part of the continued growth of Resthaven’s impact in the Holland community in the years to come.”
