How To Apply at Resthaven

The first step is to complete an Application for Employment. There are two methods available to you. Choose just one of them below.

1. Our on-line application is Resthaven's preferred method for receiving your employment application. This method allows you to complete the application on our secure internet site and submit it on-line directly to Resthaven Human Resources. Your on-line application comes to us very quickly and assists us in reducing paperwork, while also assuring you the utmost level of confidentiality.

2. Applicants seeking an alternative method for applying may obtain an employment application at the Resthaven Home Office, Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM. through 4:00 PM.  The Resthaven Home Office is located at 9 East 8th Street in downtown Holland. Applications are not available at any other Resthaven location.
   

What Happens Next?
Please be aware that all employment inquiries and applications are forwarded to the Resthaven Human Resources Department. As much as we would like to, we are unable to contact by telephone or speak individually with every person inquiring or applying.  We will contact you if your skills and experience are best suited for the position we have open.  All positions open to individuals not already employed by Resthaven are posted on-line under Current Opportunities, which is updated at least weekly.

What Else Do I Need to Know?
To protect our residents, fellow employees, and volunteers, and to comply with state and federal regulations, we conduct a thorough review of employment references and work history prior to extending an offer of employment. Should you receive a conditional offer of employment and you accept the offer, you will be expected to consent to a full criminal history background check, including fingerprinting. 

In addition, if you are hired, you will be expected to consent to a pre-employment physical examination conducted by medical personnel chosen and paid for by Resthaven. This examination includes a drug screening test and lifting-ability test as appropriate for your specific job description.
