Remember that Home Care by Resthaven's services are delivered by our “secret weapon:” extraordinary people…people who love helping older adults and who are inspired by a higher calling to serve.

Homemaking
Meal preparation, light home maintenance, cleaning, washing and ironing, mail organization, touch-up painting, light yard work, etc.

Personal Care
Help with bathing, dressing, hair care, shaving, incontinence, skin care, nail care, oral hygiene, mobility, etc.

Transportation with Optional Attendant
Shopping, appointments, errands, trips to the airport, visits to friends, church events, etc.

Companionship
Reading, conversation, gift-wrapping, games, crafts, walking, baking, telephone check-ins, etc.

Assisted Living In Your Own Home^SM
We have a set of services that exactly meets your needs so you can stay safely and comfortably in your own home.  You and our Nurse Care Manager works with you to create a Plan of Care in cooperation with your physician and your family.  Our Nurse Care Manager coordinates all services and makes certain that you are as independent and as secure as possible.

Care Management
Our highly qualified Community Nurse will visit you (and your family members, if desired) in your home and make recommendations to add to your quality of life.  She will set up any additional services that you decide upon and will monitor your satisfaction with those services. 

Nursing & Therapy
Only Home Care by Resthaven can offer you the kind of Medicare certified, quality health care you can trust while you're recovering from accident, illness, or surgery in your own home.  We accept Medicare and other insurances for these services, but more importantly, we have been confidently accepted in thousands of homes over the past 15 years.

Memory Care • Alzheimer's Care
With well validated cognitive screening, often covered by insurance, you can receive a Caregiver's Guide customized to your loved one's symptoms.  Once his or her strengths and challenges are identified, we mutually put together a plan that can reduce stress and promote joyful living for the whole family.

Psychiatric Nursing
Working with your physician, our Psychiatric Nurses often greatly improve the quality of life for those with anxiety, depression, dementia, delusions, agitation, sleep problems, lack of energy and focus, and more.

Medication Preparation
We can have your medications delivered and will prepare them so it easy for you to take them in proper doses at the right times.

Respite Care
Friendly, well-trained people with big hearts will stay with a loved one while you, as a caregiver, are away.

Check-In Calls
We’ll telephone you on your schedule to be certain you are safe and comfortable. A friendly word and a reassuring voice can make all the difference!
